Q1: ” I do not have any knowledge at all about kimonos, is that all right?”

Yes don’t worry. We offer beginner lessons for you to understand the basics about putting on a kimono and what manners are necessary while wearing a kimono. Remember, even the most knowledgeable people always start as beginners, and new experiences are always fun.

Q2: ” I do not own a kimono, but can I still participate?”

Of course, we actually rent kimonos for free to make it easy for beginners to understand kimono. Many accessories are necessary while wearing a kimono, so while following the class, you can gradually acquire all the necessary elements and finally own your own kimono.

Q3:”I received my kimono and/or accessories from a family member, but can I use it?”

We recommend that you bring it over so we can see if there are any problems. Of course, the main problem would be the size. We can assess it all once we see you in the kimono.

Q4: ”I am very awkward, so can I really be good at wearing a kimono?”

Yes, it is all right. While practicing, the awkwardness will disappear. In time, your body gets used to wearing and moving with a kimono.

Q5: ”I have already had lessons at another school, but do I have to start from the beginning?”

Please show us how you put on and wear your kimono. Then we will be able to place you in the appropriate level.

Q6: “My friend went to another kimono dressing school, and she said that the people who worked there were pressing her into buying their products. I am worried about such a thing happening here as well.

In our organization, we obviously sell kimonos to our clients, but we do it tastefully and without pressuring our clients. Our main goal is spreading the love of kimonos, so we would not do anything to make you
uncomfortable and dislike kimonos.

Q7: “I am often busy with work and taking care of my child, so I won’t be able to come regularly, is that ok? Is there a fee?”

You can practice without waste because our rates are with tickets, but please be careful because the tickets have an expiration date. In addition, we can come over to your house for lessons. Just contact us to
let us know your situation.

Q8: “I have small children, so do you offer daycare services?”

Unfortunately, we are not associated with a daycare service. However, if you participate in a small group lesson, you can do it in the company of your children. Please contact us if this is a good option for
you.
